Hi, i am not up to a very good speed with computers.

here is my problem when i want to open a file a pop-up appears at the bottom of the page it is the full width of the page with a yellow strip on the top. It states on it do you want to open or save which ever i click a caption comes on the left of the banner , saying running security check then when it finish's a page appears saying downloads & the file appears on that as well. This never has happened in the past is it some thing that has installed through another proggramme. i would like to get rid of it if possible. Thanks

What Internet browser are you using? This sounds like the download manager for IE9.
