moving a old drive to a brand new computer

hi .i am building a brand new computer .now i have a 250 drive with a lot of my info on it .is it possible to install it in my new computer with my new hard drive [500 gb].
i really need the info on that drive because this is were i have my key's for my window 7 .
i lost my sticker with the key's on it .
but i know that i have a pictures of them on my old drive .
i had to scrap my old board because she quit on me .

guees what my mother board was good .it me that pull out the [com .you know that little plastic tab with 2 pin on it .
i did not know what it was so i just remove it .lol .

that was really bad .i could not get my screnn to come on .
now i know why .
so i sold the board with a 500 hd with w7 on on it .window 7 cd and the key's .all of it for 80.00.but i did keep my 250 hd .
when i dis cover what i did i was really mad .
this is why i am building this old pc back .the only thing that is old on it is the case .2006 dragon .the fisrt model
