Hey there Vista Forums,
Earlier today, my computer froze while browsing the internet, which it does from time to time. When i rebooted it, however, it ran a checkdisk scan, which it also does from time to time after i force reboot it.
The problem is, when i got it to restart and i tried to log on to my account, it says that it could not locate my account, and that i am now on a temporary account. I googled the microsoft fix for the problem, (making a restore point first, however) and changed the registery as suggested to get the account back.
However, all my files and documents are still missing, even though they are somewhere on the computer.
For example, i tried to find my Skyrim save games, and i found the folder, but when i tried to open it, it brought up the message that says how the file is missing or has be moved.
Any help would be appreciated, i want my files back =(
