Possible to have a hidden account while still loggable?

So I've been searching a lot in the internet about ways to make a hidden account from the Welcome Screen.

I found a method using regedit that would do so, but would render my account unloggable until I would change the value of the DWORD to 0... I think that it would be possible to log to it with the netplwiz->Advanced->Secure Logon, but the thing is that I don't wan't ALL of my accounts hidden, only one of them. And I want the other accounts to appear in the Welcome Screen so that anyone can enter without needing to know the username of the unhidden accounts.

In short: I want to hide an account from the Welcome Screen and still be able to log to it, but without interfering in the clicking interface of the other accounts..

Is it possible? Thanks :)

From control panel select administrative tools and then local security policy. Now select security options under local policy. Find and double click on Interactive logon: do not display last user name. Change to enabled and then ok. This changes the login window to have a generic prompt for username and password which essentially hides all of the accounts. This works on 7 so it probably works the same way on Vista.
