im having problem with the secondary hard drive..it shows up in BIOS and in computer management but when i got to open in my computer i cant. and when i right -click and go to properties ..after about 30 seconds it pops up it say its working..and if i click on something it freezes...please help... it vista ultimate

Best case scenario, your file system is corrupted. If the data is really valuable you could invest in recovery software which could cost hundreds or a recovery service which would cost thousands. Worst case scenario, the drive is dying or dead. Try downloading diagnostic software for your drive from here: Hard Drive Diagnostics Tools and Utilities (Storage) - TACKtech Corp.

Is this a new HD that you have just installed or one that has been there a while. If it is new then you will have to format it. If it has been there a while what was the file system used on it.
