Hi everybody and Happy Thanksgiving.
I bought from Staples my Toshiba Satellite 3 years ago and I had a problem with it since.It was back for repair so many times I can't even recall how many.After a year of problems they found out that the hard drive was bad,so they put in a new one.It was working good for about half a year and somehow a modem got kicked out.Again half a year went by with no problem.Last week I was having some problems with starting it and while trying to use System Restore I lost Windows.Now I get the black background screen with the white writing telling me about other info,to use a reboot Cd.I have non,never had.I got to Toshiba technical support and before anything they want $38.00.I know I can have it repaired here in Florida for $75.00.What do you guys and girls think that I should do?Thanks Otto
