Vista won't boot

I partitioned and installed a 2nd copy of Vista on my hard drive and then deleted the original C: drive. Now I get a black screen with a blinking cursor when I boot the computer. I have used the "Repair Your Computer" thing with the Vista CD and done the command prompt stuff. I also installed a new copy of Vista to see if that would fix it, but I still get the black screen with the blinking cursor. I can tell that all of my files are still on my computer, but the computer does not have the information to boot anymore because that information was on the C drive. How do I fix that?

Not sure if this helps but have you looked at the Bios screen to see where the PC is trying to boot from? Change the Bios to the partition holding the Vista OS. May be worth a try :D

Pressing the F2 key on startup usually takes you to the Bios screen - but be careful what you change in there.
