2 screen problem

any one know why one of my two screen setup is not coming back on when it sits for a while and go's out but only one screen comes back on after I move the mouse. To get the second screen back I have to go to the start menu and right clik mouse on computer than clik properties and then when I click Device manager the screen comes on.
