I had to replace my hard drive and had made 17 back up disks. I restored 15 of the 17 (the program turned off in the night). Now they are in my System Recovery Files folder and I don't know how to get the files into the right places. HELP!!

For future reference, a set of DVD isn't the most reliable backup. One scratch out of 17 discs and you're hosed. If you can, invest in an external drive. Back up and restore is a lot less stressful. Also most of the image backup programs such as Marcrium Reflect or Easus ToDo Backup, you can copy the back up image to another external. You don't have to go through the backup process all over again.

Also it's a good idea to keep your system partition lean. When I do back up or defrag I typically have 70+% disk space free on my system drive. I keep the data on externals. If you run with like 75% disk space used it slows everything down.
