Notepad problems

Hi there,

recently I have the following problem with my notepad. When I execute copy (CTRL C) text from a website and try to paste it in my notepad, the inserted text does not have carriage returns. As a result, the copied text appears in a single line in my notepad.

Any ideas ?

Hi,

You need to set the auto-wrap feature in notepad look at the option on the top line for "Format - Word Wrap".

You could edit the text & put in hard return markers at the end of lines in the text.

thanks for the reply.
I have already done this (with the auto-wrap option) but the text appears without the carriage returns.
The option of making it the hard way (by hand) is not an option since the text is too big (too many lines).
In Windows Xp (in another computer) I do not have such problems (for the same website).
