No delete option for Volumes

I have raid setup and don't need so many partitions. I have shrunk the volumes, but I can't delete them. Ideally, I want disk 1 and disk 2 to just be one letter drive each (physically, there are 2 drives for disk 1 and 2 drives for disk 2). These are NOT where the OS resides.

I don't want to span. I just want one letter for each drive. The fact that the drives are raid 0 is a non issue since vista probably doesn't know they are raided. The raid drivers load before vista loads. Why is my "delete" not selectable?? There is nothing in them, and I even formatted the drives. There is no space showing when I try to shrink the volume. I haven't rebooted yet so maybe that might allow the delete function to be available.
