reload windows

I am trying to reload microsoft xp onto my sony vaio all in one pc. I locked up the password. I inserted the disk and booted up my cp. A blue screen comes on to say hit any button to load from disk. I hit the button and a blue screen comes up to set up hit ENTER, to repair hit R, and to exit hit F3 it wont let me hit any buttons. What do I do??????????? HELP

It originally had VISTA......But, I bought the windows XP software.
