Solved Need a good copy of ''miguiresource.dll.mui'' file, please!

Hi,
Here are the details of the last SFC I performed on my laptop, which is running Vista Home Premium SP2. All the errors point to a corrupted ''miguiresource.dll.mui'' file. I couldn't find a copy of the file anywhere on the internet and will be very grateful if someone could send me a good copy from their system or point me to a source, so I can replace the file.

Thanks for the reply, Richard, but I haven't installed any new software recently and the system restore didn't fix the error. The link you've posted about the three manual ways to fix the error just confirms I need a good copy of the file, which was my initial request - it's not available on the internet and I don't have a second pc with the same OS. I have a pc with Windows 7 though, where the same file exists but is a different version. I wonder if that will work? Thanks.

Below is a copy of the requested file.
It's also from a Vista Home Premium operating system, such as yours.
There is however a difference, it comes from a Dutch version.
I don't know if that'll make a difference.
As Rich already said, create a restore point before you make the change.

Brink, your method was the only one that worked! I replaced the file with a copy from the installation disk and the sfc doesn't find any 'integrity violations' any more. Great!
