Vista upgrade

DriverUpdate wants to update my computer. I'm very leary about this stuff. Everything seems to be working fine... I'd hate to download stuff and then things are screwed up. Here's what they want to upgrade:

Should I "ok" it?

Have to agree with Z3R, there is not need for such software. If you follow these simple directions, your computer will be properly maintained and you will know what what done to it.

10 Tips on How to Properly Maintain Your Computer

Steps that I did not notice on the guide include:

Running a scan disc before doing a defrag

Using Microsoft Security Essentials and Malwarebytes.

Making System Restore points, at least once a week

Makaing a system Image once a month (varies by user)

Not relying on your A/V common sense, should prevail. You know of many sites can cause a problem.

Do not use any reg cleaning or optimizing software.

Download and use Ccleaner about once every two months. Untick any registry entries.

Be sure to back up your hard drive about once a month (varies by user) and to keeep system restore points up to date.

I agree with both of my learned colleagues

The dates for your current working drivers are fine for a health Vista machine.

Combine that with the fact that the driver software uses their proprietary data for what is new and current I would avoid it.
