[FONT="]I was helping a friend with their computer and kept getting this error. Windows Backup Error (0x8007041D) I googled it and found this site which has a page

I fixed it by turning off automatic updates to a drive that was not connected to at the time. I noticed that there backup utility was set to back up daily to a drive that was no longer connected to the laptop. Unfortunately the page referenced above is old, so after I register for the site, get the reg email, come back to the page to post this, I get the error that the thread is too old to post to. What a PITA! I know it is elementary, but check the drive and or see if your network mapping has been unmapped if you get this type of error.[FONT="][/FONT][/FONT]
