Solved Dvd ram

My year old computer has following DVD Rom "HL-DT-ST DVD RAM GH22N S40 SCSI CD ROM".
I tried to play Panasonic DVD RAM disc which I recorded from my DVD Player.
Unfortunately the Windows Media Player does not play it although the interface appears. Can any one help please.

Hello, does Windows Media Player work at all, try another disk to verify , If it does not even work at all, go to Microsoft and see if you need an update for Media Player, You may have to reinstall Media Player .

The media player does work and I can play other discs except DVD RAM.
I downloaded for trial Corel Win DVD which works but they want £59 which is too much and I dod not want to pay that because I know that LG DVD ROM should work.

It could be a that WMP doesn't support the video and audio format on the DVD. For instance, WMP doesn't support mpeg-4 that has AC3 audio. You could download a free player like VLC Media Player and try it.

I have at lastmanaged to play DVD RAM following one advice i.e. free download Videolan - VLC software.
I would like to thank sincerely to the friend who suggested it.
