Has Windows come up with a solution to maximizing screen when entering file from shortcut. I tried everything that was suggested and it appears that only Windows can solve this problem.

I'm not sure what "maximizing screen when entering file from shortcut" means. Perhaps you can elaborate?

The shortcuts on my start up screen ie: Google, Worldstart particularly They come up minimized. I understand there has always been a problem with Windows Vista. How can I get them to open Maximized. I tried every suggestion available with Vista forums and Worldstart. I just thought that Windows would have come up with a solution by now. Have They?

Have you tried to pull the mimimized windows to full length, then maximize? Try opening that way a few times until it remembers.
If that does not work, try this as second choice. When open, less than maximized, hit alt, and spacebar, then hit the X. That is the shortcut for maximized Window.

I don't use WinSize2 anymore. I only have a couple of programs that won't remember their screen positions. For those I use my own TicClick to stick them in a section of the screen.
