Snipping Tool question

In the Windows Snipping Tool I incorrectly configured one of my email parameters that the Snipping Tool prompted me for (which allows you to email what you've just snipped). I need to change the name of the outgoing mail server to the correct name that the Snipping Tool will use but I am no longer prompted to do so. How may I reconfigure this?

Open the default Email package & check/ change the settings there.

It works best with a local email package & is far easier to configure. In fact, I am not sure it can be configured to work with an on-line service.

You could use Print screen (screen grad), MS paint to crop the image & then email as an attachment from your computer. Not as easy I know but serves a purpose.

The Snipping Tool works very well for my needs so I have no reason to switch. I'd just like to be able to update the email original parameters that it originally prompted me for but no longer appear.

Great link - thanks, I wasn't aware of DEFAULT PROGRAMS.
However, when I double click on it nothing happens (even when run as an administrator).

In fact, when I click on it through the Control Panel I get a popup error message stating that WINDOWS EXPLORER HAS STOPPED WORKING (PC doesn't crash but I cannot view my default program settings for some reason ?!? Nice idea, thanks again).

Try a system restore to before you made the change, see if it asks you after that.
