    Strange drop-down list when saving

Why does Vista keep giving me this list when I try to save a file? If the file name starts with "l" for example, as soon as I type l in the "File name" box, a list opens up showing every other file in that folder starting with l. Is there a way to shut it off? A picture is attached.

    Hi,

Look at the properties in Windows Internet explorer (See picture) & turn off the highlighted selection. OK?

AutoComplete is already off. When it's on, it finishes the file name for you, highlighted in blue, but doesn't produce a drop-down list like I'm getting. Any other suggestions?

    Hi,

Look here & see if this is a better add-in?

Someone helped me turn it off. It's in Control Panel>Internet Options>Content>AutoComplete Settings>uncheck "Address Bar." It's not marked as such, but what that actually does is turn off Auto Suggestions in Explorer.
