Startup Question

Hi you guys I'm new here and this is my first post on here so if i do this wrong im sorry but ill try my best.

Im using my desktop which has an Intel Pentium 4 processor running at 3.20GHz using Windows Vista Home Basic.

I did a system restore to my computer because it would always stay loading at the windows vista screen everytime id try to boot it up. After i restored it, it booted up normally and it started working normally again. My question is, If i shutdown my computer, when i boot it back up, will it startup from where i left off of the system restore and be able to work again or will go back to before the system restore and not load the computer.

I've looked for this type of Q&A but couldn't find anything. If you guys need any more info just ask and i will post it up.

Welcome
No one can predict the future, but your computer SHOULD be ok. A system restore has returned your computer to the way it was on the date shown on the restore point. No one know the future, for example, if you had a virus and then do a restore, you will get the virus again. If the problem was something like a corrupt file, you will retain the file. May I suggest. Make a restore point, now. Then if you do have problems you can go back again. I am fairly confident that you will not have the problem, again however.
