Solved STILL can't view hidden files...

New Member
I've followed advice here to "show hidden files" in Vista Home Premium 32bit but still I can't view them... I was able to

control panel>tools>folder options>view>show hidden files/folders and also unchecked "hide protected files"...

I then restarted computer and still I'm not able to see the files in the folders... Any help would be great. This is a new install of windows vista and i have AVG antivirus. Thanks.

Sometimes we have to do the unconventional to get things to work, but at least it works. I'm glad that you got it sorted.
