cannot see pictures from dvd

    cannot see pictures from dvd

    hello everyone
    I have tried to look at some photographs that i transferred to dvd.
    when i load dvd the pictures come up on the screen, and then they disappear
    and only show the windows photo gallery icon.
    can anyone help.

    Did you burn the DVD as a data disc or did you burn it as a DVD-Video?

    If you go into Control Panel\Autoplay and look at Pictures, what action is set? Ditto for DVD movie.

    If you double click on one what happens? Have you tried multiple systems?

    I realised they were raw CR2 files not JPEG`S off of my canon camera and i downloaded
    software from canon so that they would show in windows live photo gallery
