Can Vista's Hiberfil.sys file be resized down to 75% ?

If so what is the proper command?

From an elevated command prompt window without success I have tried;
PowerCfg.exe /HIBERNATE /SIZE 75, and powercfg -h -size 75

Both return "Invalid Parameters"

It is definitely on, I use Hibernate frequently, several times a day usually. I can see the C:\hiberfil.sys file and it's size is 3.74 GB. (4 GB memory).

At times disk space has become critical on the Vista partition and sometime soon I'll be resizing. I put Vista on a 40 GB partition which of course is to small. As a temporary measure I want 75%, like the default size in Win 7.

I'm also trying to reduce the size of the Page file but the Mini dump wont hold for long before it reverts back to the kernel dump, don't know why??? The way I use my computer I don't think I'll have any issues with smaller Hiberfil and Page files. Moving the Page file might cause some loss of performance so it is second to the smaller size.
