Solved MSPaint with Vista question

I like the mspaint that comes with Vista64 & want to use it in my new Windows7 machine - the paint there is not the same.

In Vista mspaint is in /Windows/System32/mspaint. If I copy mspaint to a memory stick, say, do I just paste it to the same location in Windows7?

I'm not convinced that will work, but you could try.

Alternatively, you could always download Paint XP for Windows 7 which, IIRC, is the same as Vista paint.

Hi....have just done it by following advice on the Windows7 forum.
It worked like a dream.....

Result! :D

Brilliant.....renamed 2 files & install 2 from Vista....plus a takeownership file I had to install. But it works so I'm happy!
