Hi guys, i have a strange problem, i am running Vista home basic 64 bit, and all of a sudden certain programs will not open,Itunes,Photoshop,and windows sidebar....

this is error message..... Adobe photoshop CS6 has stopped working a problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available.

all of these programs used to work fine...

i can surf the net use Nero..etc..etc..

i have tried to reinstall and it makes no difference..

i really have no idea where to start and i dont really want to have to do a total reinstall...

anybody any ideas..??

From your description of which programs won't open, you didn't include Adobe. However, you're getting an Adobe error message. Or, are you saying this happens when you try to launch Adobe?

You said you tried to reinstall. What did you try to reinstall?

i tried to reinstall both photoshop and itunes.. to no avail, personally i think there is an OS fault so i will have to do a OS reinstall.. Itunes creates the same error

I would try an anti-virus scan first. Include a malware scan, such as with Malwarebytes.

Or, you could just do a system restore.
