Windows resource protection found corrupt files -sfc log file inside

Hi,

I ran sfc /scannow with cmd prompt and I got the following message at the end:
"Windows resource protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of them.
Details are included in the CBS.Log windir\Logs\CBS\CBS.log. For example C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CBS.log"

Sorry for the delay in getting to your post.
When errors appear on the SFC to easiest method to repair is a repair install.

If that does not work, or you cannot get an installation DVD, the next step would be to use the restoration partition. If you do not know how give us the make and model of your computer. If you use this method all your stuff will be lost, back up first if possible.

What I have is the Fujitsu Recovery DVD, maybe I can get a Vista AIO Installation DVD.

I don't understand the first 'note' (after 'information') of your link, sorry. How to begin ? I have Vista Business SP2 on my laptop.

What means 'Activate Windows Now' ? Do I need my 'product key now' ?

You do not have a Vista installation DVD?

I only have the Recovery DVD coming with my laptop, with Vista Business inside.

I need to find one, I will ask to a friend.

I've just found a Vista Installation DVD and made the Upgrade.

I will run again sfc.exe

When you say you made the upgrade, does that mean that its complete? if so, just reboot a couple times and check all of yours drivers to see if their working (internet signal (if laptop), mouse, keyboard, sound, camera)

Yes, I upgraded my Vista and SFC run fine with no error.
