Solved Please Help! Undeletable folder!

Hi everyone, I'm new to this forum and I've got a huge issue. I've got a folder with files in it that I deleted years ago. It does not show up in Windows Explorer, it does not show up in the command prompt when I search the directory, it does not let me delete or rename it. For some reason the contents of the phantom folder only show up when I search for the file extension type that they match. What the heck is that?? I've done error-checking on my C:\ drive and I've used a free registry cleaner and STILL they show up with the *.jpg search! When I reboot and run the registry doctor program the errors show up again. Is it a virus or some sort of malware?

What can I do!? Any help is extremely appreciated!

Hi LazarusIV.

Try running MalwareBytes to check for any viruses.

Welcome
This is what you do.
Download and use Old Timer File Cleaner
TFC - Temp File Cleaner by OldTimer - Geeks to Go Forums
It is much more powerful than our normal recommendation of Ccleaner. It will remove all cookies, etc, even those that you want saved to make log in easier etc.
If that does not work, this most likely will

The reg cleaners will not help in this situation and may make matters worse.

Roy's solution made me LOL for some reason, just so simple and to the point.

Glad you got it working. You can mark this thread as 'Solved' if you want. :-)
