I am having trouble uninstalling Trend Micro....it keeps saying something about pipe state is invalid? I also cannot start up any programs from the start menu?

Trend Micro is an anti-virus software. Had you recently installed it? What is prompting you to uninstall it?
If you can get access to the Internet, download Malewarebytes and run it. You might need to disable Trend Micro.
Lastly, if you recently installed Trend Micro and have a restore point prior to it, you might want to consider restoring to that earlier point.
