Hello,
I am having trouble with a Windows Vista Home Premium SP2 installation. Boot times are exceedingly slow, and I keep receiving Event ID 100 in the Event Log.
I have tried the following...
Deleting temporary files, etc. using CCleaner.
Running a full CHKDSK which reported no errors.
Defragmenting the drive. I even tried PuranDefrag's boot defrag, but that did not fix the issue.
