Side by Side Configuration error

Hi I get the following error message when trying to load eBay Turbolister 2 program "side by side configuration error.I have looked at several old threads on this forum discussing possible fixes for this error but none actually work for me.

From event viewer the error message in more detail:

It looks like to me a conflict between Windows Live Messenger and Turbo Lister.Any ideas on how to fix it ?

As I said I have tried downloading updates to Microsoft Visual C++ etc

Hi Tom,thanks for the quick reply.I have tried the download you suggested several times but unfortunately I still get the same problem.

I am now toying with the idea of changing my email client from Windows Live Mail as this seems to be the root of the problem.

Any more suggestions before I try this ?

Hi David,

You've got one nasty error there! Basically, something has caused Windows Live Messenger to load two versions of the Visual C++ Runtimes - something which it can't do as it doesn't know which of the two to run itself with. This was either done by dodgy coding, or a clash between the two.

I would try reinstalling both programs to see if that sets it straight. If not, I'll seek the advice of someone who knows more than me on SxS issues.
