Solved c user appdata local temp directory
Hello, sorry for being a bit thick but should I remove the .tmp files from the above directory and is it safe to do so?

Hello David, and welcome to Vista Forums.
Yes, it's safe to delete your temp files.
If you like, you could use
Disk Cleanup every so often to cleanup temp and junk files instead. I personally like using the free
CCleaner to do so though.
Hope this helps,
Shawn

A word of warning - do NOT use the registry cleaner part of it!
In common with all registry cleaners, it stands a good chance of causing more problems than it solves.
The rest of CCleaner is fine.
