Hello all. New to this site. I have Vista home premium. The laptop is an Amilo, Fujitso Siemens. My problem started with message of low disc space on D drive. It's now coming up with unable to back up files. There is nothing to delete on D , only the operating system.Recycle bin is empty. My last successful back up was 17/9/12. I then looked in my "back up files" to see if they were piling up but they only went back to september 2012. Somehow I then got to a a part that said disk C has errors and clicked to repair it. Then came up catastrophic failure (0x80000FFFFF) I have also done a full scan for viruses etc but nothing has come up. I've tried to restore system to last sucessful back up date in September but then I get back to error etc .It can't do it whilst using computer so asked it to do it on start up. I switched computer off and on and am back going round in circles. Any advice please ? I only have basic knowledge of computers so don't know how to solve the problem.
Thanks for any help. Regards Rita

Sounds like the drive has failed. Go to the website of the manufacturer to test it.
