when re-installing drivers is there an order??

hi

once you have re-installed your clean OS is there an order inwich to install drivers i.e chipset then video audio and so on? or can they be installed in any rder?

It is advisable to install the drivers in a specific order:

1. Chipset drivers.
2. Display adapter.
3. Wired network interface card (NIC)
4. Audio adapter
5. Modem (if available)
6. Touchpad, Pointer, Track-stick, Mice, and Keyboards
7. Other devices – Bluetooth modules, fingerprint readers, touch-screen digitizers, etc.

I believe the Operating System is Windows Vista 32-bit:

1. Chipset.
2. VGA.
3. Audio.
4. Wireless version (7.6.0.260)

yes system is 32 bit vista home premium

does that change the order or wich ones need installing?

Windows Vista 32-bit would include Home Premium, Professional and Ultimate and it would not depend on the version of Windows Vista.
