green screen

hi everyone

When i started my computer this morning it came on with a blank green screen.
Can anyone tell me what has happened and how to cure this problem.

Hi calmat,

This issue could be caused either by the video card or the LCD. To isolate the issue, connect and external desktop monitor and switch the display.

If the issue occurs on the external monitor also, then reinstall the video card drivers and check.

If issue persists, then the problem is with video card.In case the issue is limited only to the LCD, the LCD needs to be replaced

Please post the results.
