Windows Explorer not responding when opening Discs

Hello everyone I have a problem that I simply cannot figure out how to solve by myself. I make videos on a daily basis and because of this I cannot keep videos on my computer. So for years I have always just taken one day to put all of my published/finalized videos onto discs. With this method I never had a problem. Recently though I had got new discs and a problem developed. The discs I was using and had no problems with were Maxell DVD-Rs. I would format the disc and then drag and drop what videos of mine I wanted on it. After I ran out of the Maxells I had got a stack of Polaroid DVD-Rs. Like before, I formatted, dragged and dropped and it would show the status of the transfer, only with these new discs in the middle of the process Windows Explorer stops responding and I have to restart it. After it restarts my windows that were open for transferring files to the disc are no longer opened. So I dont know what made it on the disc or if they are even complete because opening the disc to check makes Win Explorer act up again. Now around this time my disc drive was also acting up. I had replaced a belt because it no longer wanted to open and it sounded like the motors bearings were shot. Then it finally just quit working. Thinking that the drive may have been the root of this problem all along I got a brand new disc drive. After installing it and attempting to put my videos on the Polaroids discs again Windows Explorer stopped responding again. At this point I thought maybe it was the Polaroid discs. SO I went and bought the exact discs I used when everything was working fine, but now even with the Maxells like I used before Windows Explorer still stops responding when I attempt to put files on discs. Since having this issue I have tried disabling my virus/malware programs but the problem still occurs. I did sfc /scannow and it found nothing wrong. I have also taken the discs that I have attempted to burn files to and tried opening them on another computer. The other computer opens them fine but no files appear on the disc. Apparently when windows explorer stops responding it also doesn't finish the burning process and leaves the disc unusable. It has ruined 3 so far...

Here is a short video showing my problem.

I recommend that you go to the drive manufacturer's website and check for either new firmware or a new driver and install it. If you have a laptop, go to the vendor's support website, instead.
