Vista Wont Sleep No Matter What. Only Locks. No reason why?

My PC only sleeps when I have the


Put the computer to sleep: "x" turned from never to a number.




Yet when I hit sleep button it simply locks it, or when I hit power button it turns off displays only.


But under Power button and lid, Power button & start menu power button at set to sleep. Still no sleep other then waiting for it to go to sleep automatically from the specified time.

High performance(Active)


require password: yes
turn off Hard disk after: never
wireless adaptor Power saving Mode: max performance
Sleep after: never
usb selective suspend setting: disabled
power button & start menu power button: sleep
PCI express-link state power managment: off
processor power managment: mix & max both 100%
search&indexing-power savings mode: High perfomance
turn off display after: never
adaptive display: off
multimedia setttings-when sharing allow: allow computer to sleep


Can you see any reason why it wont sleep?
