Work if i installed it onto my vista notebook? and how would i use the iso file?

I'm sorry not to give you an answer to your questions but, did you see the disclaimer? It says you need to have a Win 7 product key for it to work for more than 30 days.

oh i see, so could i use a product key from another windows 7 pc thats in my house to activate on another pc?

I know that you can install multiple copies of an operating system on one computer using the same product key but I don't know if you can use the product key from another computer for a different computer. One of the other more experienced people will have to weigh in on this. You can buy keys on the internet but you have to be very careful since some may be pirated.

A product key number, is at best, limited to one computer at a time. If it is not an OEM key number, you may be able to remove the OS from the current computer and use it on another computer. In addition, you may find it necessary to talk to a MS Technician to explain the situation.
