Desktop wont boot after standby

Vista Home Premium, installed 2 weeks back. From the keyboard I put the system in standby mode. The next day I could not get the system to come up. Held the power button down and shut the tower off. When I try to power the tower up the fans come on, the "power indicator" light comes on, USB's power up. The lights on the keyboard do not light up. The power button does not light blue like it once did.

I removed power from the tower, help the power button down, then re-powered. No change.

Ideas?

No changes and the make/model is listed.
