I have run 2 scans with McAfee they found 2viruses and isolated I have also done a vista restore but no joy have you any idea what it is called ? a right click shows nothing

Download Malwarebytes as suggested. Are you sure that you went back far enough with restor?. Restore should work.
Really sounds like Malware, have no idea what is is called.

I did 2 scans with Malwarebytes 1 normal and one a full deep scan they came up with quite a few things but in the end it did not help so I took a chance and clicked OK on the pop up and was taken to a web site "JDI Backup Ltd, so I had a name to go with and this enabled me to find it on the PC and remove. Thanks for your help Rich.

I am glad that it worked out for you. I was afraid to tell you to click on anything, in many cases that is what they want you to do because it makes things worse.

Yep I realised that but I had done a back up on my ext HD and could have reverted to a DELL backup which I have done a time or two but then takes few hours to reload, but thanks again it is good to know there is a place that offers good advice.
