How to configure a windows 7 to log in automatically for the first time when you turn on your computer and ask for password the next time log off or restarting computer?

Windows 7 questions should be posted at our sister site www.sevenforums.com instead.

Log in at startup is universal. It's either automatic or not, but not both. :(

Hi Brink,
Log in at startup is universal. It's either automatic or not, but not both

I saw some computer install the OS windows 7 by deploy a windows 7 image and then it log on automatically, but if you log off or restart computer after the first time log on automatically you need to provide a password.

Nope. That's why it's unknown since it doesn't do that by default, or have any setting to allow that by default. I suppose some sort of 3rd party program. :(

Hi Brink,
Oh I see windows 7 doesn't has that built-in functionality which allow log in automatically for the first time and the next time it need to provide password however is possible only via a 3rd party software.

So that means those deployed windows 7 images has some sort of 3rd software installed.

If you want to create a log-in password, go to Control Panel, User Accounts and Create A Password for your Account.

I don't know why anyone would want to enter a password during log-off.
