Solved Windows Upgrade Adviser Incorrect on RAM?

Just ran Windows Upgrade Adviser to see if I could run Windows 7 and it said I have 1.8 GB of RAM? I have 2 GB so any idea why it's coming up with 1.8?

Edit: It's due to having an integrated graphics card.

Yes you are probably right. On desktops and hi end laptops graphics cards have their own dedicated ram whereas integrated graphics (on either desktops or laptops) shares/steals from system memory. If you check your system properties Windows will probably report that it only has 1.8 gb of ram. The rest has been reserved for graphics.

If you're referring to the window that also lists windows experience index among other things it says I have 2 GB RAM. I can see I only have 1.8 by looking at the task manager performance tab which says I have 1790 physical memory.

...That's because some of the Physical RAM is reserved by the BIOS and OS for the onboard graphics, and it's quite normal.
