Hello,
I have been using the above mentioned computer for a long time. I have had multiple problems along the way but for quite sometime it has been running top notch... Which is what I like....:)

From time to time I notice that the amount of space it has startes going down. This summer I got it back up to 30 GB memory and now it is down to 12.5... this makes me nervous. What to do? I am bewildered...

I don't keep pictures on this computer but I do use the picture folder to manipulate them then they go to an Expansion drive... Does Photo Gallery eat up a lot of space? whether pictures are there or not?

Has anyone else had these problems? What to do?

I have a back up computer I bought last year- an HP with Win 8 and I just am not as fond of it as I am this one.

Would appreciate hearing peoples thoughts..

Thanks...

Welcome
If you are having problems with decreasing memory the fist thing that you should do is test the memory
Run 8 full passes for each ram stick, one at a time
Then run 8 passes for all the sticks
Us memtest

Rich, I believe he is talking about hard drive space.

cjslargo, install Treesize Free. It will show you what is eating up your hard drive.

My hard drive changes like that at times. I've read that some amount of change can be due to System Restore deleting or creating restore points.
