My printer just died. I need a good, reliable replacement.

I ship lots on Ebay and can not afford to waste much time right now so I am looking for one from one of my local stores (i.e. BJs, Walmart, BestBuy). I don't want a HP because of the dreaded "Print Error Codes". I use it a lot and I would like something that really holds up. Any recommendations?

Inkjet or Laser? I'd recommend Laser. I have a Brother HL-2270DW which I love. I've had it for several years with no problems at all.
It's quick and prints on both sides if you want (duplex). I got mine at Staples on sale for $99.

I also have Brother MFC-J410W Inkjet which I like a lot too.

I don't know what you mean by those "dreaded Print Error Codes". My HP printer is 5 years old and haven't ever received any of those. So, I don't think you should rule out HP. There's so many different models from each vendor, it's hard to recommend a specific one.
