How to install Everything in new upgraded 750gb hdd from 250gb

Hi,

I have sony vaio VGN-NW15G with 250GB HDD Vista Home premium 32bit
Recently my HDD crashed to respond so I bought new 750GB HDD.
Once I replaced with new One I try to run Recovery disk to install everything but I am fail to install error:333.
I have no Idea how can i install vista again.

If any one can help I appriciate for help.

The recovery discs that come with preloaded systems usually require the HD currently in the machine to be exactly the same as the one that was in the unit when sold. I would contact the maker or check their online support. Perhaps you can get a discounted upgrade to Windows 7. Or you may be able to install Windows 7 for evaluation purposes using an install image. You may want to check out Windows 7 Help Forums for guidance. The evaluation period is plenty of time to determine everything works.

Thanks to provide a link. The thing is my recent 250Gb HDD has crashed if I order new recovery disc I am not sure how it can work with my new installed 750Gb HDD as it has nothing in. Furthermore, I have my own recovery disc and I have no I idea how to install in new HDD, I tried but might be I missed something.

Thanks to point out about Win 7, I might keep this option secondary If I can't find out another option. In that case I will think about Win 8 or 7, but in current situaion I am looking more to install Vista because I am also not sure about my system configuration accept to install new OS other than Vista.
