password removal?

Does anyone suggest pass word to be removed from PC if I am the only user and owner of the PC? I do get company every now and then just get on with out asking some days this bugs me and if i keep main pass word on I dont know how to set up a guest account thanks one is Win 7 other is Win Vista Business Thanks. When Windows 7 boots up it says please enter user password.

Hello Rodney,

In your situation, I would recommend to keep your account password protected so that your guests are unable to log in to your user account.

Next, you could turn on the guest account when you have guests over for them to be able to log in to without a password, and them being able to affect your account or the system.

Just be sure to log out or lock your account when they are over so they don't have access to it when the get on the computer.

The tutorial link I posted will help show you how to turn on the guest account. After that, you would just log on to like any other user account, except that it won't have a password.
