dell Inspiron 1525 laptop
32 bit Vista home something

Had a blue screen pop up a few times last week, the other night same and then the laptop wouldn't boot up. I've been trying to fix it ever since but am not exactly computer knowledgeable and am getting desperate now, I work from home on the laptop and really need it working.

I've tried booting into safe mode won't do it. Won't do the repair your computer just goes to black screen with a big pointer arrow. Tried to boot into safe mode with command prompt to do system restore but won't do that either. Can't get into System recovery options without being able to go through repair your computer which it won't do. I don't have any recovery disc.
Just tried to do this on here: http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/141820-create-recovery-disc.html

got to make the disc and saw you need a Vista installation DVD which I don't have (or can't find but am looking but nothing so far am just getting stressed) so can't make that disc

Can anyone please help me get the laptop working and spare me pulling more of my hair out? Thank you
