access hidden files and adding smin status!!

ok so i am an admin on my computer! i know that lol for sure. But i am trying to access my .pst files for outlook which is another long story that i will make short lol.

I am trying to go into the local folders--- so in this case, C:\-documents and settings-devon (which is me) -local settings (which is hidden) and it says "you currently dont have permission to access this folder.... click to continue to get access. So i do and it says you have been denied and to check security tab. So i do and look under owner and i have both "Administrators(devon-desktop/administrators) and also Devon(Devon-Desktop\Owner).

What am i supposed to do so microsoft stops being retarded as hell and allows me access to my own freakin computer?

Must take ownership of file. UAC might be interfering to.
