Vista needs ActiveX

when i hit (like today) Yahoo and want to see how the baseball bat breaks, the picture or movie is blocked because ActiveX is missing. When i allow it to be installed, i get the message from Adobe Flash Player that it will be installed, BUT nothing happens.

How can i overcome thiss problem?

Thanks,

François

Re: Vista needs ActiveX

Hi Francois,

You might try installing it straight from Adobe. Here is the link:

Hope this helps,
Shawn

Re: Vista needs ActiveX

Well it seems that the Flash Player is installed.....but does not work under IE 64 bit....

Oh well, i guess i have to wait and see.

Hate to change to IE32 all the time....

Just to let you know.

Shawn, do you go to IE32?

Thanks

François

Re: Vista needs ActiveX

Hi Francois,

Yes, I use the IE32 because of this. Adobe Flash Player does not have a 64 bit version yet for IE64.

Glad to hear you have it installed now.

Re: Vista needs ActiveX

yes, at least now it is usable, even if it has to be in IO 32 bit.

Thanks Brink,
