I know that this isn't a 64 specific problem, but I figured this was as good of a place to start as any.
I re-did my installation after my drivers went bad for my DVD drives, but inadvertently lost my pictures, etc. I had them backed up using the windows backup, but when I reinstalled Ultimate, windows wouldn't recognize the back up files.
Some quick buying brought me to Active file recovery (which I TOTALLY recommend, it worked amazingly), and I was able to find the pictures in the deleted files, but they were the files that had been altered by the backup utility. Does anyone know of a utility to restore them to their former glory? I don't have back ups, (I know, I should have had a DVD back up of them) and some of those pictures are really sentimental.
