Doo, as I said before your RAM score is almost entirely dependent on RAM SPEED and not AMOUNT. He likely has tighter timings, or possibly 1T command rate, which is possible with 2x1GB but near impossible with 2x2GB.

Ravel, your system is nearly identical to mine, save for the Raptor. I'm running 3x80GB SATA-II's in RAID-0.

I have 4 1 gig sticks of ram by Corsair. TwinX Dominator pc2-8500. Timings are 5-5-5-12. The vid card is BFG OC 8800 GTS with 640mb of ram. So and since it is x64 I have full access to that ram. I am not exactly sure how they are mapping the video card ram so I cant comment on that. As for the Raptor, my plan is to eventually get a second one and put it in raid-0.

I have the Zalman CNPS9500NT cooler. The case is an Antec P180. The mobo temp is usually around 30 degrees, while the CPU is usually around 35 degrees at idle. Under load via Everest, it was no higher than 58 degrees. That is a little to hot for my taste, but in my pc's current config when I am gaming i never see the cpu stressed as hard as that test, and the temps usually don't go above 41 degrees. I put Artic Silver between the coolers on the cpu, and the motherboard.

System is getting a bit dated, but still gets the job done.

My Windows index is all 5.9, except CPU, 5.8, since I don't have a QUAD. But rest assured, I'll upgrade..

My 8800GTX is 575 Mhz / 1800 (RAM) Liquid Cooled to 620 Mhz / 2000 (RAM).

The 7800GTX is not OC'd. It drives the two 20" monitors.

Nothing else worth mentioning. I'm waiting to get another 8800GTX and OC it, also, a better cpu - quad something.

Nice set up. I like the hard drive throughput. Thats awesome. Yea I am still considering going SLi for the future, but now that the 8800GT is out I am considering going for it, and it beats out the older 8800's. I know I am eventually going to get another Raptor. Probably closer to tax time though since i will be moving soon.
